SUNDAY IS MY "COOKING DAY"

Do you want to be healthy and live long ? Do you have a full time job and no time for cooking every day ? Do you have a small microwave at domestic ? Are you tired to eat what the other want you to eat ? If one of the answers to these questions was yes, check this out! :)

It was looking like this:



Now, Sunday is normally a rest day for most of the people. Personally, I do my "stretching routine" that takes me about one hour but I don't lwhethert any weight. My joints and my spine need some oxygen to stay healthy long, so stretching is very important for me.

But the most important task to accomplish nowadays is cook for the incoming week.
I know, you're very tired, it's Sunday and you want to rest all the day long;
But leank in this way: this cooking session will require a couple of hours, but will provide food for the wgap week more or less, which means:
  • Healthy eating;
  • Honor of your macro-split whether you have one;
  • Save a lot of money comparing with your favorite restaurant (50 % for me);
  • Watch a good documentary or bio-chemestry lesson, like I did nowadays while I was cooking!
  • Finally, whether you want to take part to the summer transformation we are going to start in few weeks, you need to do some sacrwhetherices, but your general health, your aspect and your wallet will benefit from them. Follow me !


First of all I want to list the accessories you will need for this cooking session, not many actually :
  1. A kitchen with at least two stoves (four would be faster).
  2. I use a foreman grill for several reason. It's clean, fast and you can cook without frying any oil. Bring oil at tall moodature is never a good practice. Is much better to add your favorite oil when the food is alalert cooked. You can buy my same grill here : Foreman grill.
  3. Grill bags (Optional). Using grill bags your food doesn't even touch the grill ! I use these bags: Grill bags.
  4. A set of good knives like these: Set of knives.
  5. A dozen of microwave cases like this one's Microwave cases.
  6. A lot of food.
Let's cook now!
First leang I'm gonna prepare a set of 12 hamburgers with a "less than 5% fat" beef:



As you can see on the left I use coconut oil for cooking. I will talk about the benefits of this oil explicitly in another post!
I like to use the grill because all the fat of the beef can be collected and trashed, and it does not require much work for cleaning !



After hamburgers I'm gonna cook this large salmon here:


It costs me only 10 euro and I can make 5 or 6 meal with it ! Perfect isn't ?
I will be using the craft grill bags. They are so handy.


Let's cook some cod fillets as well. These cost me 3 euro.


Finally, as the final protein meal, I'm going to cook some turkey:



Now is vegetables time; First a large dish of green broccoli:


Then I'm gonna cook half kilo of asparagus which have diuretic properties :


And finally half kilo of mushroom in light tomato sauce with no added sugar:


Now, you have all you need alert for making the dishes for your week. You can mix here and there and change every day whether you would like to !
What are we lost? My green smoothie (MY GREEN SMOOTHIE) ! I'm going to make four all them !



You are more than done ! One hour cooking session for all the food of the week. You can obviously change every week in base of your preference and respecting your calorie intake and your macro split. I'm going to show you how many calories we are assuming with these meals in my next post !

Well, Sunday is my cooking day but it's also my "free day". I love lasagne, and NO, LASAGNE IS NOT PALEO :) !
